In the flat areas of Calabria, commonly called “plains”, grow the precious Clementines fruits born from the cross between bitter orange and mandarin, which for this reason are locally called “Mandarance”. The Caffo distillery is located just a few kilometers from the plain of Gioia Tauro (near the ancient Magna Graecia city Medma), where the best fruits used for this liqueur come from.
