Caramel Banana Biscoff Tarte

Ingredients

  • 250g packet biscoff biscuits, crushed
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 150g Lakeland Unsalted Butter, melted

You will also need:

  • 1 tin condensed caramel
  • 140ml double cream
  • 75g dark chocolate, chopped
  • 2 medium sized bananas
  • 2 tbsp sugar

Method

  1. Start by making the biscuit base. Mix together the crushed biscuits, cinnamon and 100g of the Lakeland Butter and press into the base of your preferred dish.
  2. Whip the cream to stiff peaks and fold in the condensed caramel, then the chopped chocolate. Spoon the filling over the biscuit base and level out and place in the fridge to chill.
  3. Next, melt the remaining 50g butter with the sugar in a large pan. Peel the bananas, cut in half lengthways and widthways so you have 8 pieces. Brown in the pan to caramelize.
  4. Allow to cool then arrange on the top of the filling. Put back into the fridge and allow to set for 2-3 hours.
