Glenfarclas 105 Cask Strength is a great whisky holding all the flavours of Glenfarclas in one glass. The smoothness makes 105 drinkable at cask strength but adding a little water helps you fully explore its’ great depth.
The colour is deep peaty gold. On the nose it is complex and oaky with notes of apples and pears and a dark toffee sweetness.
The flavour is dry and assertive. It develops quickly to reveal a rich spiciness combined with a hint of oak and sherried fruit.
